First off any of the documents that were in the filing cabinets would have been recoverable , 100%. Historical finds of similar RN and even USN setups have shown this. Also, as the PoW would have had a newer set of fleet equipment she would have gone to sea with a mostly Microfilm and Microfiche library which the RN started to switch to in Late 1940. Again easily recoverable and wont degrade in salt water in only 3 to 4 months. As for translating, remember a large percentage of the IJN and IJA officers could read and write english and regularly were sent to Britain or America for extra courses. Also the Japanese had no problem using there Universities in projects of this magnitude. Yes they will still be trying to digest the shear volume of stuff they've found but if distributed and analysised properly they will begin to get useful information even as soon as May 1942, imho. Fortunately for the Japanese and the German's the RN also organized there technical files and intelligence files very well so the division of labour between the two sets of data can occur there as well.

Unfortunately the 1941 technical manual for both the AI MkIV set and the ASV MkII set have a little section in them describing the bell labs process, developed in Late 1940, for how to mass produce a Cavity Magnetron. This was the secret that the German's could never figure out, or the British till the US showed them. Of the two powers only the German's could put it into mass production immediately. Japan wouldn't be able to until mid 1943 imho. Thus using Japanese experience building similar sets in OTL they will bench make them and get up to about 12 to 16 sets per week.

Yes, and as I said it will all depend on Speer's. One of the first things he implemented was a sharing of technical information between companies, hence some of the resistance from those companies, in late 1943 it was to little to late. The other was getting rid of Goerings 16000lbs aluminum stockpile for every plane built policy. At one point the German aircraft industry was stockpiling almost half the monthly Russian production of Aluminium to cover there weekly plane production. It limited the amount of aircraft a company could work on , floor space and wasted resources.

If the planned meeting went ahead, the USSR would have shown the KSV-1 and the T-34 to germany in July-August 1941. In FFO there is no reason this would not have happened. It was a follow-up exercise to the one in the fall of 1940 that the german's showed the Pz-III and Pz-IV( early model) tanks and let the Russians buy a few Pz-III's. They may have even been able to buy some. Stalin's letter of April 1941 seemed to say he was hoping that the German's may buy some as a regular order. That mean's German tank development could have followed a similar production development as OTL. Thus Rommel could be getting some upgrade coversion units as early as August 1942.
