Ayatollah Khomeini exists because the Brits and the US had the democratic government deposed, and replaced with an autocratic shah. That will probably still happen, as the only way for Iran to increase it's share of the oil profits above the 15-20% level is to nationalize: negotiations had failed pre-war.

Syria, Egypt, Jordan, Iraq, and Saudia Arabia will all have large numbers of Palestinian refugees, a million or more in 1950, as the stated aims of Ben Gurion, let alone the far more extremists was to remove the Arabs and to include Transjordan in Israel.

The 73 Oil Crisis was due to the US airlifting in tanks and other military supplies during the 73 war.

I'm baffled as to this "British Miracle". It was nowhere near happening in OTL, and the only changes made have done little to reduce the cost of the war: LL will be used in large quantities, the cost of LL equipment is only 10% of original value, so there's not much of a drop in the UK post-war debt. In fact, I can see the debt being the same as Canadian grants were made post-war when it was seen Britain couldn't pay! Just because Japan is heavily hit doesn't mean it wont have an economic miracle, the loving hands with which the US treated Japan post-war OTL will still happen, as its needed as a forward base against the Soviets. The US will rebuild it just like they rebuilt West Germany.
