Good question well presented ... and no I don't have the answer eitherĀ Smile

I think (and I'm not 100% on this) that the reasoning went something like this:
  • We're building up Bomber Command (Middle East) (BCME) in the area
  • Hmmm, we're going to need infrastructure ... a lot of infrastructure
  • We're going to need a lot of educated people to help keep all this infrastructure going
  • Most of the educated people out there are Jews, and they're definateny not pro German, so less of a security risk.
  • We aren't exactly flavour of the month with them though - we're more "enemy of my enemy" than "friend" - may not be able to recruit everyone we need, and might face some obstruction. We need the manpower (especially the skilled/trained manpower) they can provide - how to encourage them to see us in a better light?
  • Ahhh I know ... Dominion status
  • Added bonus, the US Jewish lobby will love it.

Now this may be completely wrong - Mark/Shane care to comment/correct me?

p.s. How about a response to my post #5
